What's an amazing day for our 3rd graders!!!
Today was the first-ever STEAM Quest at Marshall County High School. It was a fun, hands-on day of exploration in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, led by our CTE (Career and Technical Education) and Theater Departments.
The 3rd graders rotated through CTE pathway stations like video production, health sciences, engineering, agriculture, carpentry, electrical, and autobody, just to name a few. They also watched a performance of the high school production of "Tinker Bell" in the Kenneth Shadowen Performing Arts Center.
The day was all about sparking creativity, curiosity, and teamwork in the students, and it was a great way to show off the newly renovated Technical Center.
This was the first STEAM Quest, but organizers hope to make this an annual Event. Thanks to everyone who helped make this day possible for our students.
